Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately you can’t hire a golf cart at any of the courses at Barnbougle.

Golf carts are available at both Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham for our last 2 rounds of golf.

I strongly recommend you to hire a cart on both of these courses as there are a number of long walks from tee to green as well as snakes often sun bake on the paths between greens and tees.

No. Due to the range of peoples tastes, dietary requirements and budgets.

It is far simpler for people to purchase their own food and beverages.

Over the 4 days I will be playing with everyone for a minimum of 27 holes on the golf course.

The aim is to help your get your ball around the golf course better using what you currently have rather than making golf swing changes on the golf course.

On day 2 there will be a short game class before our round at Barnbougle Dunes.

I will also make myself available at the end of day 2 for a “Coaching Happy Hour” where if anyone feels they need a little golf swing tweak we can do so on the golf range at Lost Farm.

The only chance you will get to play the New Bougle Run 14 hole short course (12 par 3 holes & 2 Par 4 holes) will be on Day 2 after our round at Barnbougle Dunes. This will clash with the optional “Coaching Happy Hour” range session at Lost Farm.

I played Bougle Run in 2022 and can say it is the most fun I have had on a golf course in a long time.

The cost is $100 and I can book it for you should you wish.

It will be a big day though.

The operation hours of the shop at King Island Dairy have been reduced by the new owners.

If it is possible to stop off on the way to the airport on the last day we will certainly stop.

If we can’t we can go to the IGA at Currie where they have a great range of King Island Cheese at prices lower than we have on the mainland.
